Valet Trash Questions
Nexus does not bill residents directly. Your property includes or charges for the service according to its resident agreement.
The container is required for clean and sanitary doorstep collection. Keep it inside your apartment when it is not being used.
The container helps prevent leaks, stains, odors, and loose trash around your doorstep.
Confirm that it was outside before collection began, securely tied, and within the two-bag limit. If it met the guidelines, submit a resident support request with your property name and unit number.
Recycling Questions
Yes. Nexus collects recycling alongside regular doorstep trash according to your community's collection schedule.
Place clean recyclables in a blue bag, tie it securely, and place it inside your Nexus container with your regular trash bag. Our valet collects both and separates the blue recycling bag at the designated disposal area.
Recycling collection is included when it is part of your community's Nexus service plan. Nexus does not bill residents separately.
Accepted materials include paper, flattened cardboard, cartons, plastic containers, aluminum and tin cans, empty aerosol cans, bottles, and jars. Do not include food waste, liquids, plastic bags, or sharp and broken items.
The standard limit is two bags per collection. Keep both bags supported inside the container, even if the lid must remain open. Never place bags directly on the ground.
